Saratoga Vision, a local eye doctor practice in Saratoga Springs, NY, was running some specials for back-to-school season and wanted to spread the word. We created an awareness campaign that ran on Google’s Search & Display networks and geo targeted the surrounding towns.
The campaigns focused on driving traffic to the website and increasing scheduled appointments. In order to see maximum success, we also incorporated a new local SEO strategy which focused on high traffic keywords that will bring in more organic traffic to their site. Compared to the same time last year, organic traffic for the website has increased by 27% and is growing even more each month.
The search ad campaign received conversion rates as high as 21%, and the average for Google Ads is around 2%. So Saratoga Vision was getting the clicks, but we wanted to get users to stay after getting to the website and browse the services or book an appointment. To decrease bounce rates, we overhauled the homepage to include imagery and copy for the specials offered in the ads.
Saratoga Vision had a very successful fall season. With the help of local online advertising, local SEO, and an update to the user experience on their homepage, they definitely stayed busy! And with SEO maintenance, they will continue to grow their digital presence throughout the year.
