WSJwine Club, the world’s leading direct-to-home wine merchant, had an ecommerce UX problem. A glass of wine couldn’t fix this kind of problem, so we were the next best fix.
To improve user experience and decrease abandoned sales, we streamlined WSJwine’s checkout process. We basically made it a lot less steps, while also made it a much more valuable experience by giving customers more information about their purchase without making them leave the page.
But we couldn’t just stop there. We implemented an email marketing campaign to both new and former customers, and built an animated HTML5 landing page to match. The custom landing page was integrated right into their ecommerce site, and although we kept it on brand style, it definitely stood out in all the right ways.
